Sole Proprietor Accounts

We cannot open a sole proprietor account from a state that does not require the formal registration of a legal fictitious business name (FBN). For a list of states that do not require the formal registration of a legal fictitious business (or trade) name, please consult your state’s filing or register office.

Small Business Bank will continue to accept new account applications for businesses duly registered in the state of formation:

  • Limited Liability Corporations or Partnerships (LLC)
  • S or C Corporations
  • Professional Corporations or Associations (PC or PA)
  • General (GP) or Limited Partnerships (LP)
